About Eternal Hair

My name is Jana Morris and I am the founder and owner of Eternal Hair. I am excited to have this opportunity to share with you my story about how and why Eternal Hair products were created. All of my life my hair had been a problem. It was thin, wispy and seemed to never grow. Being the type that "if my hair doesn't look good, I don't look good".   Thus, 90% of the time I didn't look good! Then, about 25 years ago, I was at a business convention in Oakland, California where I found a set of clip-in hair extensions. At that time hair extensions were almost nonexistent. I thought I was in heaven...my hair problems were over...or so I thought! The clip-ons were always a problem especially when it came to activities such as swimming, windy outdoor events, intimate in bed activities, etcetera. The extensions would either fall off, get pulled off, or, when the wind blew, the attachment areas would show and I felt that everyone around knew I was wearing "fake hair". I soon became so self-conscious about them that, even though they made my hair look great, I set out to find a different way to enhance my hair.

In 1998 I found a salon offering Great Lengths strand-by-strand hair extensions. Though they was very expensive ($ 600.00) I knew I had to try them. I LOVED THEM!!   I could sleep, swim, ride a roller coaster and virtually do anything wearing these extensions!   Unfortunately, however, I could not afford them. I didn't have the recommended monthly re-sets ($129.00) done and soon my hair got all matted and I ended up having to have them cut off. Ruined my hair totally! I found someone who applied Cinderella Hair extensions for only $ 300.00 but they shed so bad I had to have them removed.

Despondent about having to give up my awesome strand hair extensions I found some clip-ons from an infomercial and, as before, I disliked them!   But at least my hair always looked good. So I got a computer and set out on a mission to find an affordable, natural looking, do-it-yourself hair extension system.

Hair extensions were not popular yet (2000) so finding information, let alone quality human hair, was quite a challenge, to say the least. I spent three grueling years of researching prices, various application methods, care and maintenance and hair types (quality). While conducting my study I purchased and wore all kinds of hair extensions discovering the difference between cheap and expensive hair as well as application methods that could be self-applied. After many trials and errors I finally put together what is now Eternal Hair.

I have been wearing the Eternal Hair System since 2003. I wear them every single day, 24/7. I use to shampoo my hair daily...in hopes that it would look better. Now I shampoo once a week and only have to reapply my extensions every 2-3 weeks. And no one, and I mean no one, knows I wear them. I can sleep, swim, have intimacy and even ride a roller coaster wearing them and they have never once come off. I replace the hair about every six months and I don't have to rely on someone else to apply them. I can change my hair style from short to long and my life-long dream of wearing a long pony tail has now come true.

In 2005 I came up with the idea of marketing my system so other people could discover what I refer to as the "perfect hair repair solution".
