Salons and beauty professionals will tell you that you need a lot more hair (extensions) than you need. In our research we found many people who had hair extensions applied professionally did not like them and had them removed because they were too heavy or too thick and cumbersome. And too much hair often looks less natural and makes it more obvious you are wearing hair extensions. Hair extensions always will expand significantly after the first shampoo due to a silicone coating most hair suppliers apply onto the hair extension.
The Eternal Hair kits all contain enough hair to thicken your existing hair substantially and, for most individuals, our kits contain enough hair to add length as well. There are a few exceptions, however, such as if your hair is thick, all one length or even slightly layered (see photos A, B, C) you most likely will need more hair than that supplied in the kits. We suggest you purchase one of our Eternal Hair Bundles in addition to the kit or, if you are purchasing our Skin Extensions click here to go to our Supplies page and purchase additional skin extension pieces. If, after applying that hair you determine you need more hair (unlikely) you can purchase one of the Hair-By-The-Piece extensions for only $10.00 for an 18-22" long by 3" piece. If your hair is thin, layered or even all one length (especially blonds) the kits alone usually will suffice.
For Example:
Photos D & E below are photos of the owner of Eternal Hair who wears her hair extensions 24/7. She has very thin, whispy hair (as depicted in photo D below) so, by adding only the hair included in the Basic Kit she substantially lengthens her hair. On the other hand, the model in photo A has short, all one length, and thick hair so to lengthen her hair she has added a Bundle and two pieces of the Hair-By-The-Piece extensions.
